2019 CRUISE SCHEDULE
Summer cruises depart from the Sandpoint City Beach. To get to City Beach, turn right onto Bridge Street from 1st Ave. The address of City Beach is 100 Bridge Street. After driving through the gate of City Beach, turn right immediately. The Shawnodese is located at the south end of the park next to the boat launch ramps (beyond the green maintenance building). Please do NOT go to the Maintenance Building to purchase tickets. RESERVATIONS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. CALL 208-255-LAKE FOR RESERVATIONS.
Priority seating given in order of reservations received but must be at gate at time of initial boarding to receive preferred seating. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure time and reservations are held until 5 minutes prior to departure. Beverages & snacks are available on board. Please do not bring food or drink on board.
Cruises marked with (*) require minimum signup to go. Please book early if possible on minimum signup cruises.
Spring & Fall cruises depart from Kramer Marina, 46820 Hwy 200, East Hope, 17 miles from Sandpoint. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED for Spring & Fall cruises. Book early if possible to reach minimums.
Call 208-255-5253 to reserve. Beverages & snacks are available on board. Please do not bring food or drink on board. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure time and reservations are held until 5 minutes prior to departure. All Spring & Fall Cruises require a minimum signup of 15 passengers in order to go. For this reason, we ask that you try to reserve at least 24 hours in advance in order to establish the minimum. If we do not have the minimum signup by 10 am the day of the cruise, we cancel all cruises for that day.

SUMMER SCHEDULE
Daily Lake History Cruise This daily afternoon cruise from Sandpoint is a delightful 10 mile loop trip near the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Learn about the history & geology of our magnificent lake. Lake Pend Oreille's origin is a fascinating story and has been said by geologists to be "The greatest geologic story never told." Learn about the early Indian history and David Thompson, the first white man to explore our area. Discover the rich rail history, and our very strange connection to Navy submarine research. Most of all, experience the awesome beauty of our lake and mountains. And as a special treat for our young (and young at heart) passengers, children have an opportunity to be "Captain of the Day" & take a turn at the wheel.

Relax, kick back, and enjoy a lovely cruise and get discounted prices on drinks as well! We stop to view an osprey nests & their chicks as well as cruise by an area known for good bald eagle sightings. A history talk is included. As a special treat, children can be "Captain of the Day" & take a turn at the wheel.

Delight in a spectacular sunset aboard the Shawnodese while savoring a choice of excellent desserts or appetizer. The Shawnodese cruises to an island where passengers can thrill at the sight of bald eagles and their eaglets in the nest (90% success rate in viewing). There is no finer way to end a summer's day than on the Shawnodese. Sit back, relax, taste a variety of delectable sweets, and watch an eagle perched majestically in a towering pine, silhouetted against the setting sun. Prices include dessert or appetizer.

*Tuesday & Thursday Night on Board Dinner Cruise & Eagle Watching
Enjoy casual dining with a delicious buffet style dinner prepared by . Trinity at City Beach, a local favorite restaurant. We cruise to an area where there are eagles'nests to observe the resident bald eagles. Relax, get to know your fellow passengers, thrill at the sight of majestic bald eagles, and fill your palette with delicious cuisine. Fare includes cruise, dinner (with meat entree), & dessert. Comments from passengers such as "Best dinner cruise I have ever been on" are a common response to this unique cruise. This is a popular cruise, so book early. Please book by noon day of cruise, if possible.

4th of July Fireworks Cruise
You won't want to miss out on this cruise. There is no finer way to view fireworks than on the water. And the Sandpoint Lion's Club does a fine job of putting on a great show to light up the night. Enjoy the spectacular Sandpoint fireworks from the lake!

Full Moon Dessert Cruise
Savor the twilight while cruising through eagle territory. Then watch the full moon as it rises above the spectacular Cabinet Mountains, and with any luck, multiple moon risings, a little trick our captains know how to do.

*Saturday, Sunday & Some Weekdays Hope Islands & Eagle Watching Tour Enjoy a scenic tour around the 4 islands of Hope. Learn the colorful history of the Hope Peninsula & islands. The cruise includes a cruise by Pearl Island, a bald eagle sanctuary. Breathtaking scenery & in the Fall, spectacular colors. Salon heated for your comfort. Departs from Kramer Marina in East Hope, 17 miles from Sandpoint (requires minimum signup of 15 people).
4:30 PM to 6 PM, (May 11 to June 9, September 14th to October 31)

*Sunday & Some Weekdays Clark Fork Delta Cruise Enjoy this unique opportunity to cruise up the spectacular Clark Fork Delta. The serenity, wildlife, awe inspiring cliffs, and photo opportunities make this a "must do" cruise for both residents and visitors alike. The First Mate says this is her favorite cruise on the lake. This cruise offers the best opportunity to see animals, including the occasional moose. Be where the ice age dam was that created Lake Pend Oreille. Learn about the amazing geologic history of how the lake was created and the history of the area right up until present day. Two hours are spent on the lake and one hour inside the delta. Optional lunch available from $3 to $8 per person.

*Saturday & Some Weekdays 3G Tour (Green Bay to Garfield Bay to Green Monarchs) Explore beautiful parts of the Lake while seeing a variety of birdlife, private coves, towering cliffs, the islands of Hope, a view of the spectacular south end of the lake and more. Camera and binoculars are a must for this exquisite part of the lake. An optional lunch is available from $3 to $8 and a full bar. History & geology commentary are a part of this tour.
12:00 to 3:30 PM, (Saturday, Sunday -Clark Fork Delta Cruise is unable to go due to lake level- and some Weekdays. May 11 to June 9th, September 14th to October 31st)
